"How did I come here? How can it be, that I´m still alive? Is everything only one dream?"

The film "Without Words" is a visual experiment, settled between diary, documentation and a portrait of two persons: Kim, born in Seoul, Korea, who lived in Berlin, now lives in Seoul, and who returns from time to time to Berlin.
Truong, born in Hanoi, Viet Nam, fled as Boat People with his family to Germany, now living in Berlin.
Both fight with their asiatic-german identity, which gave them many possibilities, for example, a double perspective, but at the same time made it difficult to feel associated somewhere. They live with two cultures and look for for a homeland, for a place (geographical or psychological) to belong.
They deal in their work as artists and designers, in their private life with the question where their roots are.
